Bonus Rollover Question - for the Bookmakers

I have always wondered about this:

1. Let's say I have $500 already in my account (with no rollover requirements remaining on this $500).

2. I deposit an additional $1,000, and receive a 10% reload bonus ($100). There is a 3X rollover required on deposit and bonus ($3,300).

3. I place an $1,100 bet, and it loses.

My question is, if this $1,100 bet loses, is my rollover requirement satisfied ??

(I know that if I would have had an initial balance of 0, deposited the $1,000, got the $100 bonus, and placed an $1,100 bet that lost, the rollover requirements would have been satisfied)

Halifax:
If this was hypothetically here at BHB, your rollover requirement WOULD BE satisfied. You would have $500 available in your account that could be withdrawn. You would have already rolled over from the previous deposit.
Hope that helps.

BHB,

Is'nt the 1100.00 wager equal to only a 1X rollover. What happened to the 3X rollover requirement?

Thanks, BHB.

That's a player-favourable rule. I've got a gut feeling that not every book handles it this way.

Big Tex:

Their rationale is that since I deposited $1,000, received $100 bonus, and then proceeded to lose the deposit and bonus with my $1,100 losing bet, that the 3x rollover requirement attached to the $100 bonus is no longer applicable (since I bet and lost the $100 bonus and corresponding $1,000 deposit).

Another book could take the stance that part of my $1,100 losing bet included my original $500, and claim that because of this, I have only rolled over (and lost) $600 of my new deposit.

I'm not being a wiseass, honestly. I know, you're right, we have a 4x rollover policy up to $2999. But, Halifax asked a question with those specific numbers, so I wanted to answer him as best as I could. Just for the record:
-$2999: deposit plus bonus = 4x rollover
$3k-$5999: deposit plus bonus = 5x rollover
$6k-$9999: deposit plus bonus = 6x rollover
$10k+: deposit plus bonus = 7x rollover
This is on our website as well.
Sorry if there was any confusion. If you have any more questions......Please don't hesitate to ask.

I agree with BHB. Halifax, following your original post, I would have a hard time agreeing that a reputable shop would do what is described in your scenario.

A good GM is a reason a player keeps clicking the confirm button beyond the requirements.

How's it goin' Jake?

Bases,

Very good, buddy. Haven't heard from ya in a while. I will take it to mean that things are going smoothly with the new software. Good to hear. When you get a chance gimme a call with some feedback. Take care.
